Moon Trades Hosts Successful International Moon Day Event

July 25, 2024 – Moon Trades, in collaboration with ExoTesla and the Global STEM Initiative (GSI) Chapter of Poland, hosted a highly successful International Moon Day event last weekend. The event, themed "Regolith Revolution: Pioneering the Future of Lunar Exploration With ISRU, AI, and Education," brought together a diverse group of international stakeholders to discuss innovative theories, best practices, and cutting-edge technologies for sustainable lunar exploration.

The event featured presentations from notable organizations including GSI Uganda, TU Berlin, Lunar Codex, Ogba Education Clinic, Astrolith, NASA Hunch @VPCI, Lady Mirage Global Inc, Space Fusion Inc, and Space Copy Inc. These organizations shared insights on their pioneering work and contributions to the field of space technology, significantly advancing our understanding and exploration of the Moon.

During the event, Wintta K. Ghebreiyesus, Founder and COO of Moon Trades, emphasized the importance of the theme "Illuminating the Shadows" as we explore the Moon. She stated, "Each mission helps us uncover hidden mysteries and harness the Moon’s vast resources. This theme represents our shared goal: to venture into the unknown and bring light to the darkest parts of the Moon."

Ghebreiyesus also expressed profound gratitude to the Moon Village Association for their advocacy and leadership in establishing International Moon Day, now recognized globally by the UN General Assembly. "Their efforts emphasize the importance of sustainable lunar exploration and the collaborative spirit necessary for our shared success," she added.

The event was hosted in the EXOTESLA ExoSim lunar virtual reality platform, providing an immersive and interactive experience for participants. Attendees from over eight different countries across three continents joined the discussion, contributing to a global dialogue on the future of lunar exploration.
